Ready. Set. Host!

 

Hosting a house party with Airlift is as easy as donating to it—we can do all the heavy lifting for you.

We can manage your invites and RSVPs (unless you prefer to do this yourself). We will conduct pre-party phone calls and a walk-through at your house to help you figure out the date, time, flow, layout, food and wine. If you haven’t ever seen our house party presentation, we can preview that for you, as well. We’ll then help you set up day-of. And then, we do the pitch!

Here’s the usual flow of an Airlift party:
> Airlift team arrives 45-60 minutes prior to party start time.
> Party begins.
> (20-30 minutes) Guest arrivals, self-service of food and beverages, mingling.
> (2 minutes) Guests seated + Host(s) Introduction.
> (~60 minutes) This time includes a presentation of no more than 20 minutes and a dedicated Q&A session at the end of the slideshow.
> (Remainder of time) Post-presentation mingling, pledge cards are distributed, donations are collected by the Airlift team.
> Party carries on or concludes!

A few other notes:
— Parties can be on weeknights (we recommend a 6:30pm or later start time) or weekends (we recommend a lunch or late afternoon/pre-dinner start time).
— Parties are 1.5-2 hours total.
— The minimum number of attendees is 7.*
— Co-hosts are welcome! Find a friend or family member equally passionate about progress and team up. If they have a different network from you to invite, even better. The more the merrier!

*If you have a smaller group you would like us to speak to, we have other presentation formats that would better suit a more intimate setting. Please still get in touch!
